Substituting sugar with healthy herbs on the food platter is a big ‘no’ for any individual, especially during the Diwali time. Thus, try to substitute heavy, sugary ingredients with healthier substitutions. For example, using toned milk in place of full creamed, honey or applesauce in place of honey.
4. Stay away from sweets with silver coating
